Thanks to everyone who helped me celebrate my 50th. I had a great time and enjoyed every minute of it!

I have heard that, as Vera is unable to accompany us to Bergerac this autumn, Maud Nally will be filling the empty berth. Welcome aboard Maud. or, as they say locally "entrer dans le jardin Maud".

As you have no doubt heard Jessie either absconded, was kidnapped or simple got lost while visiting Cape Cornwall.
Well the good news is that she is safely back with me after a fortnight's "holiday" at St Just.
I have given her a good talking to and she has promised it won't happen again and that she will be getting them down for me again on Friday at the Rosevear's jolly during golf week.

As I'm going to miss the next two GOBDOs, while in Stockholm on the 16th and Golf week on the 23rd, where shall we go this week?

The forecast is good so I was thinking maybe Cape Cornwall or Stover or Yelverton or Thurlestone or Woodbury Park or . . . ?

Anybody got a preference? Are we all available?

P.S. Still no name for the new grand daughter but weight was 7lb. 10oz.

After a mere 36 hours of labour Johanna has finally popped out the Swedish sprog, another lovely little girl and first cousin to our beloved Cornishmaid, Sophie.


At the time of posting no name or weight has been attributed but mother and daughter are both fine.
