Sights from China
This vast underground shopping complex has 2000 traders selling everything under the sun. Haggling is essential. I bought a pair of golf shoes and two golf gloves for £16. Electronic gear really cheap, probably from 1/4 to 1/2 the price of same in UK (albeit probably a copy!) jealous of you playing golf today, but this is such an amazing place that it will take a lot of getting used to. Have fun today. This complex was built to take the money from the visitors from Macau who pour over the border to get cheap Chinese goods then carry them on hand drawn trailers back home again. The amount of money entering China is collosal. The 21st century is arriving at a rate of knots. Still lots of communist influences. Video cameras in hotel on every corridor But the people seem happy. Much to tell next week.

Hi Al, looks like you are having a great time over there.
We could do with some "Wednesday Weather" if you can brig some back with you? Looks like our day will be another washout :( but still hoping as its only 8.00 am at the moment.
See you on your return.
Stop calling Pete Harding, sorry Alban Bid, Al!
You'll only confuse the orientals and get Pete's handicap cut again!
Apparently, according to Reg, he WAS cut again to 11; have you been putting more cards in for him whilst you're away Alban?
