Well done to Nobby Shit for his win yesterday at St.Enodoc.
Having put together a score of 19 points on the front nine, one point ahead of Paul, 4 ahead of Vera and a whopping 9 points ahead of Reg who has been unbeatable for the last three weeks, he went on to take the match with some very good consistent golf.
The turning point in the match came on the 9th Hole where Nobby hit a fantastic drive, superb approach shot and great putt for a birdie and 4 points! It was nip and tuck for a couple of holes with Paul who eventually fell out of contention. Reg continued to struggle but Vera put on a late surge to finish just 2 points behind.
The team match play was won on the 17th by Nobby and Vera who got their revenge on Reg and Paul for the Carlyon Bay drubbing last week!
A great GOBDO on a great course! Looking forward to next week!

Awe shucks guys . . I don't know what to say! Wednesday was fantastic. I have never been so happy to win a GOBDO.
After weeks of playing absolute shite it was so nice to hit some good shots. To beat 'The King' was wonderful though he was definately having an off day. Paul and Vera went off like a train and I was just trying to hang on to their shirt-tails. They both had early birdies and were getting away until the ninth which was my best hole ever, anywhere.
Now I'm looking forward to this afternoon playing with Reg against young Paul and old Josh! Bring it on!
